It's about 6AM here and our ship is officially docked in Cape Town, South Africa! I can already tell this is going to be an amazing port! It's SO beautiful here. :)
Really really depressing news: the trip that I was supposed to take with Semester at Sea to Robben Island was changed. We were supposed to head out early in the morning and take the staff ferrry over to the island, but the staff ferry is broken and the part needed to fix it doens't arrive from Germany for a week. I was SO upset. I would do it on my own, but the only days I have free are already sold out. I'm really bummed because that is something I really wanted to do, but I guess it gives me an excuse to come back to South Africa.
